Anyone give up on Motorola and find another monitor they like?

We have a motorola video monitor and I really like it...but we are on our second one (they sent a replacement after issues with the first) and and they have both had different issues so I feel like the quality is poor.  

 1st monitor-buttons and panning messed up, and apparently the night vision was the entire time but we didn't know that until we received our replacement and  could compare the difference.  

2nd monitor-great night vision, but NO sound at all.  Apparently the replacements they send are refurbished. We are currently waiting on them to send another replacement-takes FOREVER.

I'd like to buy another brand all together....recommendations?

We have the Infant Optics one and it is great and we have never had a single problem, it is much cheaper than the Motorola one as well.

We had an Summer Infant one and had multiple issues with it.  The handheld wouldn't stay charged even with brand new batteries.  The customer service is great, but only if you've had the product less than a year.

We replaced the Summer Infant one with a Motorola and haven't had any problems.  But if I had to do it again, I would probably get a secure webcam and use my smartphone and tablet as the handheld.  It costs a lot less and you can access it from anywhere.  The downside is that you have to figure out what to use for a handheld/parent unit.
