Parenting after a Loss

**luvmyducks**

A quick camera question if you don't mind. I'm thinking of getting another lens and I was wondering if there is another go to lens you would recommend. I have a Nikon 3100. And I have the two that came with it. One is a 18-55mm and the other is 55-200mm. Sorry i'm new to this camera and picture taking stuff. But i'm trying to learn. TIA!

  • I for sure suggest either a 35mm or 50mm 1.8. It's a great portrait lens. The main difference between the two is the 35mm is wider angle so works better in tight places. And it's cheaper. I use that lens 95 of the time. But the 50mm is a great lens also if you don't really have a budget and not worried about small spaces.

  • Thanks! I don't really have a buget but the 35mm really sounds like the right fit for now. Sometimes I find its hard to take DD picture with the lens I have right now so hopefully this will help. I'm planning on at least taking some online course to help me get the hang of it. But I definitely see this being my hobby. I was desperatley in need of one.
