Do They Forget?

Spent the part of the day Christmas shopping with MIL. To start, she was calling at 8am wanting to know when I would be ready to go. I hadn't even got the boys out the door for the bus yet or had a shower. I told her LO had ate at 7 so she would need to eat again at 930 ish before we left and I had to pump before we left.
She gets all pissed off that we are going to be late and she doesn't want to deal with crowds. It's a fricken Monday morning, and did we have a shopping appointment I didn't know about?
I think she forgets that I'm under new management and don't get a say in the schedule. She only ever had DH to deal with as he was the one and only. Do parents just forget what its like to have LOs?

Yes, I think they do. My MIL had 2 kids with colic and whenever my LO fusses just a little, she acts like there is something terribly wrong and hands him back to me faster than a hot potato!
And FWIW, I can't even get out of bed with 1 child before 10am.. I couldn't even fathom being up and ready with 2 kids by 8!
