Kaley is asleep in her crib and I'm bumping from the chair in the corner. I thought I was ready for her to be in here, but I'm not. I can't check on her on my way to the bathroom at night. I feel safe knowing she's right at the foot of our bed.
Sigh. I know she's suppose to be in her crib sometime or another but damnit Mama isn't ready! Psh, will I ever be ready?!

dh is pushing for the nursery switch... I refuse to until he starts going through the night, and since my mom is sleeping in that room for a month in January, LO has to stay with us hehe
anyhoo, 10:18 and he is passed out in his bassinet... He keeps waking himself up, so I'm hoping this is the real deal, at least for a few hours!
Married my best friend 09.18.11 TTC since 12.10.11, BFP #1 02.10.12 Baby E born 10/18/12. 8.5lbs and 21in of pure perfection!
DS had horrible gas after his bath tonight. He hasn't screamed like that in weeks! He refused his bottle for about 45 minutes before finally calming down and taking it. He's finally sleeping. Let's hope he goes a long stretch before wanting to eat again!
9:30 here. E just woke up from a 2.5hr nap. I'm scared about how tonight will go. We should be half an hour away from bedtime but I'm not sure she'll go back down any time soon. Uhg. And we have Z's 2mos well check tomorrow, I could use a good night.
Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!
10:47 here
Ugh.. He's down he's up, he's screaming, I am at my wits end. DH is yelling at me that I look worn out and tired, and tells me I need to take a break. It's only Monday honey, maybe if you would've given me a beak this weekend I would "look" better. But you had to watch soccer and football and got mad when the baby fussed b/c he didn't want to sit on his chair anymore.
Just kidding! 10:50 and last night's cycle begins once more... Awake in the bassinet, passed out in my arms... At least it starte earlier this time, gives me enough time to keep trying without staying up until 4am (I hope)

You're not alone. I have been doing this cycle since 8:30. 10 minutes after I put him down he's up. As soon as I pick him up he's asleep. Currently I am sitting on the couch with him asleep on my shoulder wondering if I should put him down again.

I'm not even a little ready. I agree with PP, I'm not even entertaining it until we get some serious sleeping going on in this house. DH works thirds anyway, so it really doesn't bug him. He actually loves being able to get up and feed her on the weekends.
LO is asleep in the PNP, and has been for 45 minutes. Why the hell am I up?
Shes been doing really good STTN so we take trying it. It's so awkward knowing ill be asleep in my room and she will be in hers. Gah!
10:15 here. Just put DD down. Sitting in the rocker for a bit in hopes she doesn't wake up as soon as I get in bed. And she wiggled her way out of the swaddle and is wide awake before I finished posting. :
DS has been down since about 9:30. I'm waiting for a batch of cookies to finish baking and then I'm going to bed. I hope he doesn't wake up too much when I change his diaper!

I still haven't fallen asleep yet. She keeps spitting the pacifier out and fussing. Its not until she gets restless that I go in there because I know the crying is coming. I'm trying to let her self soothe but I'm too freaking paranoid.

11:30 and to my surprise E is back down. I'm rocking Z and thinking about taking her straight to bed with me and not even trying to put her down. I desperately need sleep and she usually ends up in bed with me anyways. Yay for survival mode right?

Well we tried. She was wide awake and crying. She's changed, fed and passed the eff out in the PnP. We tried and that's all that matters. We will get there eventually.
1:02 and the cycle continues... 1.5 hours and e is up again... Attempted feeding him but he passed out half way through, I changed him and tried again and nothing.... He is passed out on my chest so I'll try putting him back in his crib.

1115 pm here... Hubby put MJ down about 20 mins ago after he had been asleep on my chest for about 30 mins. I'm about to pump and then head to bed myself, I have to get up at 430 am to take a friend to the hospital to have surgery. Hopefully MJ stays asleep!
12:45 here. Alice is asleep in her cradle to my right and Husband is asleep to my left. I am wide awake. Oh and I get to spend the day with MIL and her fried making cookies tomorrow. Awesome...

0405 and holy crap bubba slept from 11 to 3:45. Alone. In his crib. After putting himself to sleep. And he napped today for the first time in his crib.
I'm a little late to the party. LO went to sleep at 8:45p, which is an hour earlier than normal, but woke up at 10:15pm. She fed and went back down at 11:15pm and just woke up.. So almost 4 hours. I would like more sleep, so here is hoping she falls asleep fast.

3am. Been up for about 20 minutes feeding DS. He wasn't super awake but was tossing and turning and making all these sounds, so I just got up. I would be happy if we slept until 7 after this!

627. I survived my first day back at work. I was able to get off the floor and pump which makes me so happy!!
DS went down around 1130 and I followed shortly thereafter. He woke up at 420 when DH came in the room but quickly fell back asleep. I on the otherhand had to keep rolling DH over from his snoring!! Then DS finally got up around 545.
Pumping now. Have CPR renewal at 9... Debating if its even worth it to fall back to sleep...

7:06 and he just passed out again... He woke up every 1.5-2hours tonight, but I was able to put him back to sleep and he stayed in his bassinet, so little victories overall. I just need this little guy to stay asleep for a little longer next time!

Why move her so soon? Is there any way to put crib in your room until she's a couple months old?

DH is rocking the oh so sleepy Kaley after I fed her. I had to whip out the humidifier, for some reason its dry as hell in our room. Never has been before. Damn this stupid Michigan weather.

Her room is right across the hall from ours so it's not that far away. No room in ours, the king size bed takes up a lot and can't put it up against a wall because of bathroom and closet doors.
