DH got our SW on the phone this AM and we were able to reschedule our home visit for this Saturday. It is not ideal b/c DH's parents are in town (they have been in AZ at Mayo for FIL's cancer treatment) and we were planning on introducing them to Arie for the first time then, but DH is going to take some time off work on Friday and bring him out to their place.
So looking forward to getting this completed and focusing on the holidays and our family.
And this is totally unrelated but I caught this totally adorable picture of Arie this morning and had to share. I actually took out my phone b/c he was smushing his face against the glass and looking hilariously creepy but then he pulled back and just looked precious instead. I'll take it!

Mother of two wonderful boys! Blessed through adoption.
Adorable picture! I'm confused - why do you still have to have a homestudy done when the adoption is already completed?
And we will be praying for your FIL's treatment!
