Travel tips?

We are traveling from Indy to Pittsburgh forchristmas and I am not looking forward to it. First off my partners rude mother and the 6 to 7 hour drive when we didn't have a LO. Any advice on driving that far with a 2 month old? And no he doesn't sleep all the time either so I can't bank on him snoozing most of the way. Thanks!

Give your partner's  mom some benadryl No, for real though, we just moved 7 hours away, and found that it worked best to have someone ride next to our little lady. My hubby and I took turns driving and riding in the back with her. The second trip, I had to do just me and her, because he needed to drive his truck.... just plan on giving yourself some extra time for stops, and maybe a Baby Einstein CD. Those help calm Clara down at least

Thank you! I also thought about spiking her coffee ha jk but really why can't we all just get along!?

I think we all have a family member like that... try not to feel too bad about it!

I was gonna say strap her to the cargo rack, or tie her up in the trunk.

But maybe that's just what I wish I could do to my mil LOL.

I just pictured the grandma on the roof scene from National Lampoon. Lol.
I also wish this of my MIL most of the time.

At the risk of getting flamed i'd ask the doc if its safe to give the LO a spot of Benadryl.  Just a little?  That's a loooong drive
