Introduction

Hi, all. I've been lurking around here for a bit, so I wanted to introduce myself. DH and I have been TTC since November 2011 without any success. We began testing with an RE in November 2012, and all tests came back normal for both of us, so we're in the "unexplained infertility" boat along with what seems to be a lot of you all. I do have Graves disease, which is an autoimmune disorder that causes hyperthyroidism, but it's currently in a sort of remission state, in that my T3 and T4 numbers are in the normal range without me being on any medication. I do get monitored regularly by an endocrinologist for that.

Since finishing testing, we've met with the RE about next steps, and he would like for us to do a combination of clomid and injectibles with TI, then moving on to IUI (all with monitoring of course) if TI doesn't work. We're fortunate in that we have pretty good insurance coverage, but we've decided to keep trying on our own until March, when I turn 32 and it's been about 1.5 years of trying, at which point we'll probably proceed with the clomid + injectibles.
