Which ones are your LO's favorite??

I'm partial to little people, but their blocks don't have the best reviews. Does your LO like the hard foam ones or the wooden? Or just mega blocks? I'm afraid mine would rip through the foam ones, but some wooden sets have such tiny pieces.

My son ended up with three bags of mega blocks and one duplo for Christmas and his first birthday last year.  Over the year, duplo went to Grandmas house and was not a favorite, and I changed my opinion that three bags of megas was overkill.  My son LOVES LOVES LOVES them!  Has for the entire last year.  And that is even our most effective punishment for him; they get taken away for a day.

Foam would be eaten fast as my son enjoys shredding, and since my son has a little sister he likes to throw things to, wood is not a good option. 

 As far as stacking, my sister made him some out of plastic canvas and yarn and put bells in them.  They are so great because they stack well, are light weight, and if he falls on them, they bend instead of hurt him and are easily popped back into shape!

DD likes her Ikea blocks. I can't do a clicky on my iPad, but it's the set in the little tray with wheels.

DD loves her mega blocks!  We are getting her more for Xmas.  My folks have old school wooden ones at their house and they are great too, but a little heavy.

DS is 19 months old. He likes the good ol fashion wooden blocks with the letters on them and pictures and he has mega blocks.
