recommend your bottles

Recommend your bottles

We used Dr Brown's with DD1 and DD2 seems to like them too, but we've got an ancient dishwasher, so we're washing all the bottles and parts by hand. I can't handle it any more, and with me going back to work soon, I need to use my time more wisely. So what do others use?

Re: recommend your bottles

  • We use the sensitive tummy Tommee Tippee's which have all those parts, but the normal Tommee Tippees would work without all those parts...

  • Love love love our tommee tippee!
  • We use Avent--I like them and LO does too.  The wide mouth of the bottle makes it easy for me to clean them by hand.
  • they also sell dr brown sterilizer

  • Playtex dropins. Throw away the liner, wash the nipple, and you're good to go!
Just make sure you have a liner in the bottle before adding milk in the MOTN, it makes a huge mess if you don't. Yes, I know from experience!

  • I like Dr Browns but we have a dishwasher. I think you can use them without the insert if you don't want to wash that.

    Second place is Tommee Tippee.

Worst for us so far is Avent.

  • We use BreastFlow bottles with DS1, and now with DD2 too.

  • One more for Tommee Tippee.  We first tried Born Free and she absolutely hated it.

  • I like the tommy tippee bottles only the bottle, nipple, and ring if you choose to disconnect it.

  • Playtex drop ins! All you have to do it rinse out the nipple and throw away the liner. Super easy, and I just stick a new liner in the bottle when I throw the old one away.

  • We use BornFree, Avent, Dr. Browns and Similac.

DS drinks the best from the Born Free and his gas has been much better since we used them.

Dr. Brown bottles were good when he was younger because the flow was better, but I don't like cleaning them or making them since the neck is so narrow and the air tube is a PITA to clean by hand.

  • I use playtex ventaire, and the first years gumdrop  ones. (but they are only medium flow) love the ventaire. :) but they have a few pieces to them, but have been super easy to clean I think, we don't have a dishwasher. Takes me about two minutes to wash four bottles. ;)
