Breastfeeding

Another poop question.

Because I am too lazy to search for this answer.  I know there is a huge range of normal for how often babies poop.  DD is almost 3 mos old, EBF and has only been pooping (one giant, and I mean the biggest giant poop you have ever seen) once a day or even every other. What I am more concerned about is that it is maybe mucousy or stinky.....I can't tell because I don't know what that actually looks like, and it should smell somewhat, right?  She has also always been a little puker, gassy, and I just worry that she has some kind of intolerance to something.  I just can't figure it out.

Re: Another poop question.

  • Ugh, I typed this big long response in my phone and it didn't go through :/
All I was going to say is that my DD only poops once or twice a week. It's huge, slimy, smellydisgusting, greasy and frightening. But I'm pretty sure it's normal.
