White noise machine

Which white noise machine do you recommen?.  My DD stops crying almost immediately when we take her into the laundry room because of the dehumidifier that we have running.  She also calms down with loud shushing from us.  I was wondering if there was a white noise machine out there that would mimic those noises.  She doesn't respond as well to music and lullabys so I'm not concerned as much about those on it. We just wanted something that we could put in the nursery or take with us when we are out.

We have that one and play it all night and through her entire nap.  It has I think 6-8 different white noise sounds and some lullabies as well.  It can play forever or be on a timer.

For out and about I like the "sleep sheep on the go" we use the rain sound almost exclusively. We also use it at home for now, but are considering getting the HoMedics sound spa so we can run something all night.

Home medics sound spa. It's inexpensive. We found that the babyspecific ones didn't get lound enough.

We have the travel size sleep sheep which was nice when she was younger since we could move it around the house.  In her room we use a clock radio/cd player and just turn it to a static station when she is sleeping.

We have the 20 Homemedics sound machine. Love it!! We keep it on waterfall bc it's the same constant noise. It plugs in which is great. It also has a batteries option, which is great for road trips etc.

Works great for us. DD sleeps great with it on full blast.

I have this one and got one for baby as well. I have always slept best with a fan on but DH hates fans. This makes a similar sound without the wind! I tried synthetic machines and hated them. This produces the actual sound, not a recording.
