Paul has been awake and crying since 9:30. It's now midnight. After 10 minutes DH said he wasnt feeling well and went to bed. I've tried everything and then start over again. He will take a breast about every half hour but feeds for less than five minutes. I dont know what else to do. I'm about to put him next to DH and lock myself in the bathroom

Poor baby and poor mama. Shame on DH. Sometimes these little babies just cry. Take a few minutes to yourself every hour. The nonstop crying is exhausting. Hugs to you. I hope he's able to settle soon.

DD was doing the same thing earlier. I swaddled her and put her in the swing with the white noise machine next to her ear and the paci in her mouth. It took a few tries but finally worked. Make sure to take a break if you need it. Good luck!!

It may sound silly but try taking him in the shower. When my lil man gets like that the water and skin to skin seems to help calm him

I was going to say to try taking him in the bathroom with the shower running. When all else fails, I put DD in her carseat in the bathroom with the shower running and the fan on. The sound of the water running really seems to calm her down within about 5 minutes. She has actually spent several whole nights sitting in the bathroom with the shower on. I know it's a waste of water, but when we're having nights like yours, it is worth it in my book! Good luck, I'll be thinking of you!!

I second the shower Kenzie doesn't really like baths but a warm shower always calms her down or if all else fails a walk outside in the sling Usually puts her to sleep. I hope you guys get some rest soon!!
