Medication to stop milk production?

Has anyone used any medication to stop producing milk?  I'm not even sure that there is such a thing, although I think there is...   Just wondering if anyone has used it, what the side effects were, etc.  TIA.

I asked my ob if they would prescribe something for me because my weaning was taking forever and I had a huge supply.  Apparently the meds they used to give out have very crazy side effects.  I can't remember what they were, but the hormonal change was more than some could handle.

I read somewhere that taking Sudafed could dry up your milk.  Maybe you could try that?  Might want to double check that first though.

My LC told me to take sudafed for 24hrs and that would dry it up quickly. I never had to try it because I was able to ween completely in about a week which was crazy considering how much I was pumping.

I took benadryl for 3 days and it seemed to help a lot.  I was still in a lot of pain but I was trying to dry up really quickly so I quit cold turkey.
