Update to severe breast pain

The LC came over and thinks its a plugged duct possibly an abscess.  She wants me hand express, hot showers, compresses, ect and if it still hurts Monday or gets worse to call my OB.  I have been working on it now for an hour and its just as painful and blotchy now so I'm going to leave it be for an hour and call the doc if the blotchyness  is still there!

 I'm not screwing around with a possible abscess!

Called the doc b/c I have a low fever now and the redness did not go away...she of course thinks its probably a duct or from being engorged but is calling in an antibiotic to be safe.  I'm getting it filled and will take it if my fever spikes or gets worse tonight and will start tomorrow regardless if there's no change in pain levels.
