After we switched to milk at 12 months I let DD have as much water as she wants.  She probably drinks 12 -16 ounces her day.  But I don't measure at all, she only drinks milk or water, some days it's more water, others it's more milk.  We always keep a water cup around.

As far as adults go the rule is 1oz for lb, Im sure that for a toddler that would be the higher end/a goal. Thats just my idea. My LO probably drinks close to 20oz of water and 18 of formula.

I don't really keep track of the exact amount. But DD has a Sippy of water available to her at all times. She probably drinks 3 or 4 a day Atleast. I feel like I'm constantly refilling that thing. Lol.
