Does anybody take fertility supplements? I had to google a male supplement yesterday when reading a post - I had no idea what it was - then found female fertility blend supplements on amazon. Does anybody take these? Maybe it's just wishful thinking that they'd help in some way...

Re: Fertility supplements?
My husband takes Fertiliaid supplements, we order them on Amazon (they are available at GNC, but much more expensive there), he's also on CoQ10 as instructed by our RE. It's important to know that you will not be able to see a difference (if there is one) until about 3 months after starting. DH will be having a repeat SA in a couple weeks to see if this has helped.
ETA: reading fail, I thought you were wanting them for your husband, then after looking at your sig realized you didnt. No experience with the female ones though.
TTC since July 2011

IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies. ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts.
Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy. Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!
I did take the fertility blend for woman this month. It was our first natural cycle-it ended in a chemical pregnancy but I believe it helped. I mean who really knows, but we all can dream and wish haha. Good luck
When we were taking a break this summer I took Maca & Vitex the month of July I actually got AF with it but no PG. I did the liquid form because the lady at the food coop said the liquid acts quicker than tablet form. After a month of doing it, it was kind of hard to continue doing. I did buy tablet forms but have never used them....
Me 26 (unexplained), DH 28 (SA GREAT!)

I take Maca & Vitex as well evening primrose oil and Omega 3 (each for for 1/2 cycle - called a seed oil rotation). There are lots of special fertility blends, but it's hard to know how well they absorb and how effective they are (they all say they are the most effective). Sometimes they're cheaper than buying a few of the ingredients, but sometimes not. Definitely talk to your doc just to be sure there's no funny interactions.
For me, it comes down to peace of mind. I like to feel like I'm doing what I can to be healthy and prepared for a baby, if it ever happens for us.
Best of luck.
Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .
Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October
I take fish oil, wheatgrass and royal jelly / bee pollen, along with prenatal vitamins. I was taking evening primrose oil, but decided to just stick with the fish oil. The wheatgrass and royal jelly / bee pollen supposedly help with egg quality. I just started and have no idea if they will help....but I figure they can't hurt.
Dx: Feb '13 - HSG shows clear tubes but minor diverticulitis; Borderline DOR; Low DHEA and low testosterone.
Moving on to IUI or IVF.
