NBR: Keurig users - recommend yours

I'm thinking about getting one for DH and I. I drink coffee and he drinks hot chocolate, and we both would do ice tea. So I thought this would be a great gift to us from Santa for Christmas. I don't know much about these other than they use special kcups. I'm just looking for one that is simple for DH to use/understand and that does not cost too much! Any help is appreciated, thanks!

My Grandma gave us one...and it was great when DS was first born, but DH is a coffee snob, so we don't use it very often. he grinds the coffee fresh every morning, and while K has mini filters and cups so you can use your own coffee...they don't work great...infact DH threw them out the other day.

I would just get the basic model if you are only going to use it the way you describe.

We have the Platinum one at my work and I just had my mom get it for me for Christmas. I like it because you can pick different sizes cups you want!
