I just want to say my heart breaks for those Conneticut elementary students who experienced a horrific time today as such a young age. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go to the families who lost their little ones today and for the adults as well who lost their lives. I could never imagine experience something like this, such a tragedy. Heaven received 26, if not more, beautiful angles this morning.

Same here. I was just a mess watching it all unfold on my television those babies and families lives will forever be changed.

My first thought exactly. Those poor kids, I couldn't imagine seeing that at my age, no child should have to ever deal with that. T&P's to everyone involved.

Prayers for the families!  Cannot imagine how someone could do that to innocent children/teachers.

It's just so terrible! No child or parent should ever have to go thru something so horrible.  Very heartbreaking!

Blame it on hormones but after hearing about this terrible tragedy I went to my sons school and took him out for the day. He is in first grade. I didnt freak out or anything. I just wanted to hold him close and spend the day with him after thinking about the mothers and fathers that will have empty arms tonight.

This made me so sad to hear about. I'm a teacher and although we train for these types of situations, I don't think anyone could ever be truly prepared for this to happen in their own school. I know that myself and my colleagues would have done exactly the same thing, risk our own lives to protect our children...they're not just students to us, they're like another family. That family is certainly going to be shattered for a long, long time
