I have to AW DD for a minute

Last night we had our gift exchange with our Girl Scout troop. After the exchnge DD, and I where walking to the car, and she noticed a little girl sitting on the street corner, with her mother, who was holding a sign. She asked me if we could walk over to the little girl so we did. She told the little girl that she wanted her to have the Hello Kitty necklace she had just received from the gift exchange.

She gave it to the little girl, and we walked away. I asked her why she gave it to her, and she said " I wanted to give it to her because they are homeless, and she might not get anything for Christmas". My heart melted, and I cried.
