Grr...I think it's time

DD1 and DD2 share a bedroom.  It was working out great.  DD1 would go to bed earlier and be asleep by the time DD2 got up there and started making any noises.  DD1 would wake up first but DD1 was sleeping heavy enough that she didn't get woken up.  Well we moved bedtimes (or are really trying to) so they go to bed at the same time.  DD1 will talk, etc if she has an audience and DD2 will not lay down to put herself to sleep if there's something to look at.  Since DD2 finally started STTN 2 months ago, she now wakes up earlier and pretty much every morning, they wake each other up. I'm thinking it is probably time to move DD1 to her own room and move my stepdaughter in with DD2.  I'm not looking forward to it on any front really.  The only positive is that I can turn DD1s room into a complete purple/Rapunzel room.

Re: Grr...I think it's time

  • I had to separate my girls (twins) at 9 months because they woke each other all night. In the long run, it was a good thing. Now, they each have their own decor and their own special toys in their rooms. They play in each others rooms so it adds extra play areas to the house. I love the Rapunzel idea (we have 1 pink and 1 purple room).
