Pampers overnight diapers

I have been using the overnight diaper for a while now but after I put one on my baby for a long car trip, she is really red. I have been using cream on her at every diaper change but its not helping. I did some searches and found people saying the diapers can cause burns and irritation. Has anyone had this happen? She has worn pampers swaddles since birth with no problems.

Some babies are sensitive to the super-absorbent gel and can't use them.  We put a layer of vaseline on DD, followed by Desitin over that, before putting her in her overnight diaper, and she is usually ok.

I've heard of the redness from the DryMax diapers.  We use the Pampers Baby Dry and never had an issue.  He gets a rash from the Pampers Cruisers though.

Interesting. LO has used many kinds of diapers and never had a problem with any of them.

He does have a bad rash right now but it's only because he had diarrhea the other day. He doesn't anymore so the rash should go away hopefully (:

I just put 2 Swaddlers on my dd at night. Works great!
