Dr. Rotter- North Andover

I will be seeing this doctor for the first time (used a different OB with DS).  Anyone have experience with her?

Also I was wondering when I can expect my first ultrasound (presumably low-risk).  My other OB only did an a/s so I'm wondering if maybe I'll get an extra u/s this time around!

My sister & I both use her and she is amazing. She did my first US around week 8 or 9.

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Rotter at 7 weeks. She explained she normally doesn't do an u/s at the first visit and has me coming back in 2 weeks. Great doctor - you will love her!

Thanks ladies!  I had a previous loss so I am hoping they will do an u/s when I go on Friday at 8 weeks.  I don't know anyone who has had her IRL so it's nice to hear positive feedback from Bump world.

They have you schedule the ultrasound separately from the appointment but Dr. Rotter is really good at working with her patients so maybe she can squeeze you in. I had spotting in the first trimester and she talked to me personally every time and either got me into her office that day or had her nurse schedule me at another facility. It really helped keep my stress level down. Good luck - I hope you get to see your little one on Friday!

Well I went today and she did not do an u/s (I didn't really push it) but am scheduled for a dating ultrasound on Tuesday!  I'm psyched that they got me in that fast, and my old OB did not do dating ultrasounds so it will be great to see the baby and make sure everything's ok in there!
