Here's a list of the girls in DD's Parisian ballet class (they had their holiday open class today, hence my just posting this now).
Manon
Camille
Amalia
Eva
Victoria
Joanna
Alexia
Elena
Anna
This is normally my naming style, but I am a little disappointed at the Spanish/Italian -a names that have taken France by storm these days. There are only two traditionally French names on this list (the first two). That trend is reflected at DD's school and in other extra-curriculars. DD had a Eugenie in her ballet class last year and I wish she would come back to balance out the names a bit!
Re: DD's ballet class names
oooh manon is a total GP name for me.
this is a pretty good list!
Beautiful names!
I love Manon. Wasn't that name one of the characters in Chocolat the movie? Love that movie!
I just want to give you a world as beautiful as you are to me.
Me too! I feel like I haven't seen you around in awhile either! Interesting that Spanish/Italian names are getting so popular there. Can anyone think of a particular reason for this trend?
