No because my FIL, in all his retired glory, lives to do things like make Outlook calendars with color coding that go on their fridge and send emails to companies whose goods and services have disappointed him :-p
My inlaws forget their son's birthday. I think my mother-in-law has remembered my birthday more often than my husband's during our marriage. But it goes the other way too - I have to remind him of his parents birthdays.
Yes. 3 years in a row. I was a little hurt but know that is their nature. This year they made a point of telling me that they had it written down on 3 or 4 different calendars both at home and their office - and they were the first to call me on my birthday.
Absolutely - I don't think they even knew it until about year 6+. They even forgot DH's birthday one year - I called around 5pm and reminded them and they called DH and invited us over for dinner for his birthday. Poor buddy.
A better question - have you ever forgotten DH's birthday?
Nope. I'm lucky to have wonderful in laws (in general)
They give me money every year.

No. My MIL is somewhat intrusive and likes to inject herself into our lives. She's more likely to remember my unbirthday than forget my birthday. She also tracks my siblings birthdays, anniversary, and such. It's very thoughtful, but I just want to be left alone.

If it wasn't for Facebook, I don't think I would even get a "Happy Birthday" from either of them.
My parents, however, always remember my H's birthday. They treat his birthday like they would mine -- gifts and a meal (home cooked or restaurant) of his choice.
I think my MIL knew one year because the day before she told me she would "get me if I ever went out drinking". I told her I was in fact going out the next day. She came over the next night and took a nasty shiit in my bathroom while I was back and forth getting ready and then lied about it. You got me MIL. You got me good.
She is a Jehovah's witness again so I guess I will never get another gift like that.
I've never gotten a present for my birthday from them. However, it would be pretty difficult to forget when it is. Seeing as SIL and I have the same birthday, just different years.
Funny you should ask. My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and for the 14th year in a row, I got nothing from my in laws except a card.
It's their choice how they spend their money, so I wouldn't even care if not for the fact that they still give my BIL's ex gifts. My mother in law forwarded me a private email from said ex, that included a thank you for the birthday gift. And I was present years before when they actually gave her a gift in front of me.
I consider my MIL to be stupid and flaky, rather than mean. So at least there is that.
No. My MIL never forgets anything. Ever. She's like super mom/MIL/grandma, etc. My birthday is NBD to me, but she always brings me a cake and a present. She's awesome.
every single year! Well, unless you coun the lame "Oh, Happy Birthday" message on my facebook wall at like 10 at night because they see everyone else's wishes.
I'm the black sheep, I think, because I don't believe every documentary I see and immediately throw out all of my food in the pantry. I also don't cloth diaper or eat 100% vegan, I'm chubby, and I had an epidural with both labors, So, ya know, I'm not as good of a mommy as the other daughter-in-law.
Yes, a few years ago but it wasn't a big deal to me. I'd rather they forget than insist on cake and ice cream like I'm 5 (which is what they do for all 4 of their kids plus my BIL).

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

DH birthday is the day after mine. My parents haven't forgotten his because its the day after mine and the day before my dads. Easy 3 birthdays in 3 days
I don't think so. They even torture me more by forcing me to go out to a birthday dinner with them at some point. I try to forget to schedule it with them every year, and about a month later there she is asking me about when I want to do it. I know, I know. It's nice that she wants to do it, but it doesn't make up for being a twat the other 364 days a year.

I'm with manatee. Hate bday attention.

They can't forget my b-day...because I have the same b-day as MIL. mwahahahaha.
Except I don't really care for my b-day.

Same.
I think if someone knows you hate birthday attention and intentionally bring on the balloons and fanfare, they're an AWing azz.

I'm not bitter at all.

Mine don't acknowledge my birthday and it's 2 days after MIL's.
DH, on the other hand, has awesome ILs who call, send cards, buy him gifts, and bake him cakes for his birthday. :P

Every year.
MIL usually forgets DH's birthday as well.
