Pregnant (& TTC) after a Preemie Check in 12/12/12
*Newly Pregnant or those thinking
about becoming Pregnant, I really need your help. I like for someone to
take over this check in. I have loved doing the updates and checking in
each week to see how everyone is doing, but I have no plans to have
another baby. If someone could please take over so we can keep this
check in going that would be awesome. It's pretty simple, just copy and
paste and update each week.*
Welcome to the check in group for Pregnant After Preemie! This group is also for those who are actively trying to conceive, planning on it, or just thinking about it...
So, list your first name, due date if you're pregnant or ttc timeline, preemie's name and gestational age at birth as well as the reason for their prematurity.

Last Week's Updates: Incogneato- LO is measuring small (15%) at her last US with body and femar lagging 2-3 weeks behind. Mama will have another US in 3 weeks, hoping to rule out IGUR. Please keep Incogneato and LO in your thoughts and prayers. Punky917 had another bleed and for reassurance went to the ER, there they sent her for an US and they heard the HB. Tomorrow she has another OB appt. Keep us posted Mama! sdtchica13 had her 1st US last week and their is only one baby in there! Her EDD is now 7/11/13. Praying for a full term pregnancy. JuliaJAG- I was lurking on the HR bump board and her BP have been really high and her OB are talking about hospital bed rest. Please keep her and her LO in your thoughts and prayers. angie637-I'm so sorry I didn't even see your post on the other check in. Congratulations to angie on the birth of her twins. They were born at 35 weeks due to PProm again. How are they doing Mama? As of two weeks ago they were feeder/growers.

I started having some crampy like contractions yesterday and just feeling really off. My OB checked me this morning and my cerclage is still holding my cervix closed but if I get 4 painful contractions in an hour I have to go straight to the hospital for an early c-section. She's giving me 50/50 odds of making it to my scenduled c/s on 12-26. I have to limit activity and be off my feet as much as possible until delivery. Calling in grandparents to hang out with DS1!
This is kind of exciting to me right now. I never thought I'd experience the whole, "is this IT" labor wondering and timing contractions with my scheduled c but I'm a little glad I get to experience that and i'm far enough along that I'm not really worried if baby does come now. Though I'd like to keep him in as long as possible, of course!
How exciting, but I'm praying that your little one can hold off another two weeks. Definitely keep us posted.

Hi ladies! My name is Heather.
DH and I have decided to try for #2 BEFORE I apply to an ultrasound program. Waiting until after I graduate means leaving DD an only child for another 3 years or so and we don't want to wait that long.
DD's name is Hannah and she was 34w5d premature. Cause unknown.
I'm still having some random contractions with the max being 2 in an hour so far, so still home resting. I've also had some horrid migraines this week which basically force me to do nothing but rest, but LO is still inside cooking and kicking! Max of 11 pregnant days left and I'm trying to enjoy each moment with my babe inside this long, already 11 full weeks longer than DS1. That still blows my mind.
Good luck to all you ladies on your ttc or pregnancy journeys. I feel so blessed to be a hugely pregnant part of the pregnant after preemie community. You have all helped me through so many anxieties and celebrated with me through so many joys. Thank you!
