Why do Doritos taste stale immediately after opening the bag? Seriously I get maybe one good one then the rest taste like the bag has been open for 2 weeks.

Also, why am I still eating them??

hahaha i got a kick out of this. It's funny you say that because today I opened a bag of white cheddar popcorn and kind of got the same taste... they weren't nearly as white cheddary as I remembered. Half a bag later I realized the taste wasn't getting any better. haha

Could be because your sense of smell and taste are heightened while pregnant.  Now I am hungry for Doritos!

Side Note:  I make a killer taco salad with Doritos - I might have to make that for dinner soon

I've noticed this in most things i drink these days.  Juice doesn't taste the same, and any kind of soda (non-caffiene coke, sprite, etc) taste like seltzer water without any syrup.  I sent two sodas back last weekend until my husband tasted it and told me it must be my tastebuds.  But one thing's for sure.  I'm getting doritos at lunch today.

I'm bringing snacks for the cookie swap on Friday and my list is Cheetos (must be the Puffs!) and Doritos, both Cool Ranch and Nacho.

Oh I had such a tease yesterday.  I was buying TGIF's potato skins from the vending machine and totally pushed the wrong selection which was for an empty aisle.  Not only did I not get my chips but I didn't get anything at all.  Talk about frustrated.

I haven't had Doritos in a minute! I'm still stuck on salt and vinegar chips. It's been a daily thing for three weeks. I pack a little baggie of them, and chow down around 10:00.
