Weird Dream

Last night I had my first BFP/Pregnancy related dream ever...I honestly don't think I've ever had one in my life. The dream was that I woke up and temped (for the most part I've stopped temping to confirm O but I still like to temp after my IUI's to see when or if it drops so I know AF is on her way). The thermometer wasn't reading any numbers, instead in the little window where your temperature would be showed "BEST TO TEST". I was confused and took me a few minutes and showing DH the thermometer until I realized what I should be doing was POAS. So of course, in dream land I tested and it was a BFP and we all lived happily ever after. Eh, what a tease.

Today is 14dpiui and I was thinking about testing this morning but was in too much of a rush for work and I've been having cramps, acne, mood swings..all my normal pre-AF symptoms so I'm not really in the mood to test. I tested back on 10dpiui and it was negative, which I know was still kind of early but I'll give it today and if AF doesn't show I'll test tomorrow morning.

TTC our first Navy baby! Me:27 DH:30, together since 8/2003, Married on 7/2006
9/26/10 stopped BCP and started TTC.
9/2011 referred to RE. All blood work normal and DH's SA=normal results
11/2011 HSG=both tubes clear
One natural (monitored) cycle of Clomid, 50mg 2/2012= BFN
Getting ready for first IUI, 3/2012 received orders to Japan! (postponed IUI)
5/2012 Moved to Japan, fought Tricare for months over referral (no fertility treatment on our military base) for Japanese RE out in town!
8/2012 Started seeing new RE
9/2012, post coital test= hostile cervical fluid, (finally) moving on with first IUI!
9/29/2012 IUI #1+trigger= BFN
10/27/2012 IUI #2+100mg Clomid CD5-9+trigger= BFN
11/28/2012 IUI #3+100mg Clomid CD5-9+trigger= BFN
12/28/2012 IUI#4+100mg Clomid CD5-9+trigger=BFN
2/1/2013 IUI#5+injectables+trigger=BFN
3/2013 IUI#6+injectables+trigger=???

    That stinks! My brain knows better than to allow me to dream of it...! I hope the day got better!

    Me: 06/12 Dx w/ IR PCOS (rx 2000 metformin) DH: SA all clear; looking good
    06/12-10/12- Clomid/Femara + trigger + TI + P4 = 3 BFNs, hysteroscopy, polypectomy, D&C
    11/12 - 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI + P4 = BFN
    12/12 - Surprise BFP ectopic (MTX 01/13)
    04/13 - Off the Bench! 7.5 mg Femara + trigger + IUI #2 + estradiol + P4 = BFN
    05/13 Clear HSG-5 mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + IUI #3 + P4 = BFP ectopic (MTX 07/03 & 07/11)
    07/23 emergency lap to remove ectopic mass and left tube
    10/13 5mg Femara + Menopur + trigger + TI(follie on left/no IUI)=BFN
    11/13 Same as above but BFP!

    I had dreams back when we first started TTC, thankfully none in the past year...they are such a mind fluck. But my mom dreamed the other month that I gave birth to a muppet LOL.

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD. 
    IUI#1&2&3 (2011 & 2012) BFN
    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
    IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)
    IVF w/ICSI Oct. 2, 2012 - 13R, 11M, 7F, 1 frozen blast 4BB grade - - - FET Nov 15, 2013
    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt
    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy
    JUNE 2014 IVF#2;  5R, 2M, 1F Three day transfer 6/7.  Beta 6/18 - BFN
    Child Free Now?

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    I used to have dreams every now and then about becoming a mom. I don't have them that often anymore, but the ones I do have are becoming more vivid. (And some seriously emotional.) I had one the other night where I was laying in the hospital bed, post labor, with my baby in my arms... (I have never seen my baby's face in dreams before this one.) Then, even weirder, I handed him off to my mom who just smiled at him and played with him. (My mother passed away about 2 1/2 yr ago.) Needless to say, I woke up bawling.

    Sometimes, I just wish I wouldn't have them. >_<

    My dreams seem to get really weird when I'm on clomid. However, funny story about dreams, my SIL called my husband this morning, and told him she had a dream last night that I was pregnant with twins. We haven't told anybody that we are trying or using IF treatments. I really hope that's not foreshadowing! haha. Good luck, it's not over until AF sings.

    Oh man, sorry you had to deal with that dream...but hey, tomorrow you could be living that dream!  Good luck tomorrow, FX for you!!

    I love that! Better than my dream earlier this week that my mom gave birth to a baby boy. Several problems there: she's 60 and had a full hyst almost 30 years ago! I dream to escape IF!

    TTC since 3/2011 Adenomyosis, LPD, hypothyroidism. 
    BFP on 7/20/12 after 4 cycles Clomid + IUI 
    2 large subchorionic hematomas & no heartbeat at 7w6d   
    D&E 8/18/12 Sonohysterography found septum and necrotic tissue.   
    Hysteroscopy to remove both 10/5
    IUI #5-7 50mg Clomid + trigger = BFN  
    IUI #8 Femara + Bravelle + HCG + Progesterone = BFP 3/27/13
    Beta 1 (13dpo) = 169  Beta 2 (17dpo) = 1073  No heartbeat at 9w3d. 
    D & C 5/10/13  Triploidy 69 (paternal inherited)
    IVF #1 with ICSI and PGS 11R 8M 5F 2 biopsied/frozen
    PGS results = 1 with trisomy 13 & 1 good embryo for FET 
    FET #1 EV, estrace, nitro patches.  Cancelled due to thin lining
    FET #1.2 oral estrace, f'ing nitro patches and no delestrogen.  Transfer 12/31. BFN
    PAIF/SAIF welcome
    Surprise BFP on 6/13/14  Our only unmedicated bfp ever.
    Beta #1 339  Beta #2 649 44 hour doubling time

    Some days, like today...I think I would take a muppet at this point, lol Wink And no joke...while typing this I seriously just saw a commercial for A Muppet Christmas Carol!

    Yikes, what a dream! Or nightmare depending on how you look at it.

    I probably have a TTC dream once every couple months. My worst dreams, though, are usually when something bad happens to my guinea pig. Sometimes I have such bad dreams that it bothers me the rest of the day.

    Dang, I'm sorry. Vivid dreams like that can really mess up your whole day or even shake you to the core. I hope you stop having those.
