is 'espresso' black or cherry?

Neither.  It's espresso color - like the color of an espresso bean.  Dark brown.

It's espresso. Closer to black, not as reddish as cherry.

It is really hard to pick a crib, dresser and glider to match....but I figure the baby won't care!

It is very dark brown.... almost black.   I have an espresso crib and I love it.

espresso is REALLY dark brown (almost black) like pp said. We also have 80% of our furniture in this color and dh and I LOVE it.
