Holy crap! We may be matched with a 2 month old baby boy! He's been in the hospital for several weeks withdrawing from methadone, but other than that, docs say he is healthy.
What do we need to know about 2 month olds, bringing him home, etc.??

Re: We may be adopting ASAP!
That is so exciting! Wow!
DD is 2.5 months now...every baby is different, but she eats 20-24 ounces/day of formula...she smiles a lot, loves to lay on blankets so she can stretch out and kick. We recently got her a play mat with lots of stuff dangling off of it that she can bat at, and she really loves it. Hmm, I don't know what else to say. Good luck and congrats!

Congratulations, I am SO excited for you!! 2 months is such a fun age, I suggest a playmat with toys that dangle down, some fun music CDs for dancing around with baby (DS loved Putomayo kids CDs), a swing or vibrating chair (every kid is so different, DS loved the swing, hated the vibrating chair but I know a ton of kids that are the opposite!), and lots of formula, diapers, burp cloths and clothes!
Also, extra clothes for you! We were never prepared for that, we were always getting spit up on or peed on in public with no clothes to change into lol.
Swaddle, formula, tons of burp cloths. Our LO loves the travel swing. He was small at 5 weeks and it kind of hugged him. I suggest the little gowns for clothes so you do not have to unbutton anything. If you get to speak with the nurses and go care of him at the hospital ask them every thing you can think. They should be a wealth of knowledge.
Ditto the extra clothes for you. I cannot count how many times LO spits up on me.
