Stumbled across this one on Nymbler. WDYT? ...and how would you pronounce it? I read it's pronounced ah-rayl-yah...

I don't think I like the pronunciation as much as I like how it looks...

    aw-ray-lee-ah is the pronunciation I believe.

    I think anyone with this name would spend their life correcting others' pronunciation of it! It does look pretty though.

    It's pronounced as you have it: ah-rayl-ya. I also think I like it better written than aloud.  Trivia: it's the name of the treasure ship in Fool's Gold, if you're into chick flicks ;)

    aw-rehl-ya is how I say it.  I think I remember reading a post about it once though where people pronounced it aw-REAL-ya.

    Yup. I love this name. I think it's beautiful!

    I definitely recommend watching Love Actually to hear the name. It's a Christmas movie, and Aurelia and Jamie are my favorite story line!

    If we ever have a daughter, this will be her name.

    I really really like Aurelia. The Love Actually connection definitely helps out. :)  It's too frilly of a name for me to use on my kid, but I love it for others.

    This was my first thought, too. It looks pretty but has a lot of confusing potential. Maybe something like Aurora instead?

    This. 'Aurelie' is actually a French name, it would even better to say  oh--ray-lee-ah. I love 'Aurelie' if you say it in French. I took it off my list when someone pointed out that in English people would say 'orally'.

    I don't see the appeal of this name, it's such a mouth full and sounds like "i'll rail ya" or "areola"... uck.

    I love this name. The beginning sounds more like "Oh" than "Aw" if you ask me. So it's more like "Oh Rail Ya"

    We plan to name our daughter this. We'll pronounce it Aw-reel-ee-ya... It's my DH's great-aunt's name and that's how she pronounces it.

    immediately made me think of love actually :) i quite like it. 
    trying for #1 since May 2012... we're adopting! bringing home baby boy in january 2015!
