Okay so I'm in my "tww" due to blood work on December 5th coming back with progesterone at 9.8 showing I o'd recently according to my doctor. My last "period" was Nov 1 when I found out I mc my baby at 5 weeks 1 day... Off and on the past week I have had sharp pains typically on the right side (like ovary area) but it comes and goes and I thought maybe implant maybe coincidence... Whatever... Well hubs and I decided to go for it last night and things were fine for about a minute or two then I sat up more (me on top) and got a horrible sharp pain on the right side (same area) I thought it would go away so I gave it about another minute and had to stop because I was in tears from the pain. Afterward even just to touch my stomach in the middle or that side was HORRIBLE pain... I went to bed hoping it was all coincidence or just needing to potty... I woke up and it still hurt/tender not as bad and I keep burping (a lot). Any ideas before I call the doctor and have to take time off from work which is nearly impossible this time of year since I'm a teacher...

Can you just call the doctor and see if they have any ideas over the phone?  Maybe they'll tell you something you can take, or to watch out for something for a certain amount of time before you worry too much? 

I'm kind of grasping at straws here, but I think you should definitely call your doctor if you are in that much pain!

I plan to call the doctor I just have to wait until later in the day... Just wasn't sure if anyone had an idea as to what it could be.

I hear ya.  I have no experience and no idea what is happening, although the one thought I have, which may be TOTALLY off base, is if you are pregnant, could it be an ectopic?  I hear those are very painful.  I hope for your sake, that's not it, but it's all I've got. 

I hope you start feeling better between now and when you call your doctor.  Please keep us posted on how you're doing and what you hear!

That's what I've been thinking too... hoping it's something dumb and not even needing medical but we shall see...

I would call your doctor asap.  I've had 3 ectopics, 2 of which ruptured both my tubes, and the pain sounds simlilar.  If you start getting bloated it could be a sign of internal bleeding.  Just keep an eye on it, and if its to bad go to the E.R.!

I called my specialist and they said I need to come in but they would call me later for an actual appointment date... I am sick on top of this so I made a regular appointment for this afternoon to get the junk in my head cleared out... hoping they will do blood work and see what is going on... Slightly bloated but keep burping A LOT... I will let y'all know when I do...

It could be an ovarian cyst? I have had a few and it can be VERY painful...

I finally reached someone at my clinic for an appointment. They seem to think it's a cyst but scheduled me for an us on thursday just to make sure... I had my regular appointment yesterday to clear up the head crap and got amox and they didn't seem concerned either saying probably just a cyst. I have PCOS and get cysts just never had one hurt this much... Thanks ladies for all the advice!
