Where did my FREAKING lining go???

Frustration has set in.  Mother trucker, mother trucker, mother trucker!!  Went in for my day 12 monitoring appointment today.  Last month, on 150 mg clomid, I had 2 follies (21 and 18).  THIS month, the biggest one was barely 12 and my lining was super thinned out to 4.4 - are you FREAKING SERIOUS?!? 

So, I head back Thursday to see if the 12 has grown.  I had to see a different doctor today due to scheduling conflicts, and she just shook her head and said that the lining was terrible and that Dr. M wasn't going to be happy with it.  This is the first time I've had lining issues.  It has been 8-10 for the past 3 cycles.  

My question: Any chance it will magically reappear and thicken by thursday?  I don't know what to do or say anymore.  Hoping that some of you have experience with thinned linings.  *For what it's worth, this is my last cycle on clomid, so hopefully I won't have to worry about this again.  I would still like to salvage this month if possible though.

Both times I've taken Clomid, it's thinned my lining. My RE prescribed Estradiol (taken vaginally) to help thicken it up. I can't remember how thin they said my lining was, but they were able to salvage the IUI cycle both times. Maybe ask your RE or nurse about ways to thicken it up? I started Estradiol on CD12 on IUI#1, and on the same day as my trigger (CD14) this cycle, so it's not too late!

I second asking about Estradiol. You're right at the prime time to start taking it - it isn't too late. With lining that thin I don't see an alternative. It could thicken up some but I think you need Estradiol to give it an extra push. My lining continued to thicken up quite a bit from CD 12 monitoring until trigger but if it's below 6-7 I would push for Estradiol. GL!

My lining was 5.6 on CD12 and almost doubled by CD15.

My lining grew almost 3mm between CD12 and CD15 both cycles I took clomid (no mature follies either time though).  FX for a thicker lining and mature follies for you!

Clomid did a number on my lining.  With our final IUI, I ended up with vaginal estridiol for 3 days but I don't know where my lining ended up cause they didn't check it again before the IUI since my follicles were right on track.  Good Luck!

Agree with PP on estrodril (I call is smurf crotch since it's a blue pill taken vaginally that makes your CM blue).  But my lining always got worse with each clomid cycle to the point that on the third cycle RE said - No more!  But your lining is like follies, it can thicken 1-3mm a day so it can thicken up a bit between now and IUI and implantation.  But I would really call about getting a script called in for estrodril today to help it out.
