Nude Maternity pics

Did anyone else do any nude maternity pics? My SIL is our photographer and she did some nude shots (still conservative) for me and I love how one turned out but I don't think I would ever put it up on my wall or anything. What do I do with it? Just keep a digital version? If you did nude maternity shots what are you doing with the pics?

Id at least get them framed ya know, LO might wanna see what you look like one day, preggo with him/her.

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty sure DS isn't going to want to see his mom naked while pregnant with him at any point in his life.  Ever. 

Nude photos hanging on the wall?  Absolutely not.  Good lord, I can only imagine DD's 12 year old friends and their parents coming over to see me naked on the wall. 

OP, you could print out a few for your own scrapbook and keep the digital long-term.  If you have other maternity pics, maybe you could make a photo album using an online printer.

not completely naked i agree. i just think its a very great time in a moms life might want to remember it. Has anyone ever read the book i believe its called the glow...it has all pregnancy photography and its very classy. to each their own. )

I'm pretty sure nobody wants to see me pregnant and naked.  Pregnancy is beautiful, yes, but my swollen self is not something I want to document in the nude with someone else taking the pictures.  I have a few very tame bare belly shots I've taken at home, but that is about as far as I go.

I thought only the Kardashians hung nearly naked pictures of themselves in their homes.  I would *die* if I walked into a friends house and saw a naked picture of them hanging.  DIE.

LMAO!! So wrong, but so funny!! 

On a real note though, I took nude maternity pics and probably only did because my friend is a photographer and offered to take them for free. I will always cherish them and so so happy I took them. That being said, I have them saved on my computer for now. I might print a few out for an album that would be a very special album but they sure as hell aren't going up on my wall. Or on this website. Or in my Christmas cards. I know pregnancy is a beautiful thing buuuttttt........... lets not get carried away with ourselves ladies!

I did not, but I did do boudoir photos (very tasteful) for DH for our wedding.  I had a digital album made of all of the shots.  Right now I keep it on our dresser.  When DS gets a little older, I will hide it in one of my drawers.  I will have absolutely no problem showing my children those photos some day when they are adults, and I am an old lady (when the pictures are considered vintage, lol), but until then they will remain hidden and DH and I can pull them out if we want to.

I have some maternity photos...but I'm the 'shy' one of my sisters, at least when I comes to my body, and I wouldn't even agree to bare belly shots. If I wouldn't put them up in the house I didn't see a need to take them. I thought about taking some but I just couldn't do it...

BF took a few of me at a very secluded beach, but I have no intention of hanging them anywhere.  Just plan to have them.  I had bare belly shots in my maternity session, and I may choose to hang one of those, but that's as far as I go.
