In the battle few have been demanding for at least a day or two, LuckyDad and RTV are throwing down, right here, right now, in an epic chess match for the ages!
RockyTopVols:
Flip a coin works for me if you want to flip. I'll call Heads and if I win, I'll take W.
Luckydad flips a half dollar coin at Random.org...
RTV wins the coin toss! RTV chooses White. RTV to move...

I will periodically post diagrams of the board to make sure we are in agreement and make this more interesting visually. But not yet.1. e4 e5

That is a good idea! Man, we are nerdy and awesome.

Was there ever any doubt that we are awesome? The answer of course, is no.*settles in and grabs popcorn*

Haha, I was so planning on saying "First Blood" too.
Feel free to take as long as you need.
The longer it is, the more epic it is.
I think this is where we are at if you want to take this time to confirm?
Oh snap!
...yes it is a slow day at the office and this is the most entertainment I can hope for...

Not the most epic move considering how long I dwelt upon it.
I don't really understand chess, but I want to watch.
I've heard you like to watch.
Right now we're moving from the opening game into the middle stages. We both still have an equal amount of material on the board and fairly even tactical positions. For a football analogy, it's tied 3-3 in the middle of the first quarter.

I get it.
Speaking of football, I'm moving to the semi-finals in FF. Woot woot.

For the spectators, I think it's roughly half-time at this point, with the score arguably still tied. There's stuff I like about each of our positions right now.
We have a discrepancy.
In move 10, I moved the pawn to c3 so he should be up one.
And you can't move your pawn to c4- so I assume you meant c5 and just counted wrong because of the flip of the board.
If that is what you meant to do, and your pawn is on c5 (not c4)..
14. Rfb1
Thanks for the catches. The perils of moving between two computers! And yeah, I meant c5.
14. Rfb1 Rb8
We good now?
Material wise, still tied.
Position wise... probably tied? I don't want to comment too much more on my plans and thoughts on things
We are good now!
