Mommy needed her smokes.
We should have a parent of the year post. I read a story today about a woman running someone down with her van, with her 20-month old in the car. In a forward facing seat. In the front passenger seat.

there was a woman who left her 3week old baby in the car at the post office just recently while she ran inside to mail a letter, and her baby got kidnapped. This was in a very small neighboring town to mine. HOwever the next day the news came out that the baby was not stolen but that she ditched it (literally) herself and falsified the theft. The baby was found in a ditch in the country!

HORRIBLE.
OMG. Please tell me they found this baby alive.

ahhh crap. I forgot to say that yes the baby was alive and well. thanks to an amber alert, a couple found the baby and took it to the ER. Also I believe that the baby's paternal grandparents took the baby after the mother was charged with child endangerment.

Wait, she deliberately ran someone down? Having your kid in a forward-facing seat kind of pales in comparison to that.

Oh, thank God! BTW - Evelyn's picture in your siggy makes me smile every time I see it!
