If you didn't exercise (or if you did something on top of exercising), what else did you do for yourself?
This week's challenge: Meditate. There are a lot of different ways to meditate - prayer, sitting in silence, and yoga are just a few examples. Try to find a meditation style that works for you.
Re: Self Care Check-in
Well, I got my exercise in, but I got in while shopping... so I don't know if you can count it. I did get an early christmas present - a "new to me" elliptical. So, I am looking forward to adding that into my daily routine. I used it last night and couldn't believe how out of shape I've gotten.
I also made a special christmas present for a friend's child. I know that doesn't sound a lot like self-care, but I love crafting and I love giving - especially when I know the gift will be well received.
I am going to try sitting in silence this week.
I can meditate, I pray multiple times each day already.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
I got 3 walks in last week, 1 outside with DS and the dog and 2 on the treadmill. Also, last weekend I flew out of town for a wedding with my mom. It was the first time I spent the weekend away from DS (16 months). It was amazing to give up that responsibility for a weekend. We had a fabulous time!
Meditation will be hard for me this week because it isn't something I normally do. But I will try.
