The twelve lunches of Christmas has begun! And no, this idea is not original. I saw it at anotherlunch.com. And yes, I do know these days technically start after Christmas, but we'll be busy then and I wanted to build a little anticipation for the big day (as if that's necessary for a kid!). DD is really looking forward to these lunches, which is really cute.
Partridge in a pear tree! PBJ on the side to keep it dry. In the big container: Cucumbers, pear (see the "tree" pick), cheese bird, blueberries, carrots and a mini silicone of yogurt raisins.
Turtle doves! Two turtle PB/honey sandwiches with clementine wedges. The other tier holds carrots, blackberries, celery with peanut butter and sprinkles, a "turtle" chocolate and a few crackers.
Three French hens! Ham & cheese croissant sandwich topped with a few Chickadees (Target's brand of Goldfish). The sandwich was very big so there's just a few pretzels, gigantic strawberries, grapes and a mint.
Four calling birds! This is the worst of the bunch. I'd planned to cut little phones from fruit leather, but a very fussy toddler vastly simplified my plans. PB/honey puzzle sandwiches hold the birds with sprinkle details. There's also strawberries, clementines, grapes and cheese. Ho-hum!
Have a great week everyone and PIP YOUR CUTE LUNCHES HERE! Holiday themes are so easy and your child will love it!
