We have a regular, small, gym-style trampoline, no handle. I'd suggest it over one with a handle, particularly since your LO is well over 2. DD's been using ours for months with absolutely no problem, and I would worry about the handle getting in her way. (And, honestly, just being annoying. )
I love that it has a handle. The girls are in gymnastics and love that they can get really high jumps while holding on. It has an 80 lb weight limit and my 7 yo is only 50, so we'll get plenty of use out of it.

We got this one for DD1 for this year. Target had it as a daily deal a few weeks ago for really cheap. I think it was 27.99 or something like that.

Santa got this one for our girls a couple years ago: https://www.target.com/p/jumpsmart-trampoline/-/A-11317884#prodSlot=medium_1_5&term=mini trampoline
