In law Christmas.

We are having Christmas today at my in laws house.  I hate going there. They are SO loud and so DS doesn't sleep when we go there.  Also, I asked what I can bring. And MIL says "Nothing."  I tell her that I am capable of bringing something, and she finally says "salad".  She drives me crazy.  Of course the spot light can not be taken off of her and have someone else bring a dish.  I know it sounds petty but after 6 years of dealing with her and her obnoxious opinionated self, I just take everything she says as an attack. I DO NOT WANT TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sorry :. Christmas should be fun, not stressful, but I can relate to an overly opinionated mil. It sucks.

    Personally, I would just make the obligatory offer to bring something and when she says no say "are you sure?"... After that if she refuses I just wouldn't bring anything.

     I have an aunt like that... No matter what you bring it's not good enough if she even lets you bring something.  And then she spends the whole time complaining about all the work she has to do :P

    sorry she's such a pain!
