We love Willow for a girl BUT the only problem I see is that we have a puppy named Oakley......would you think twice about the relation of the names or am I over thinking it?

Willow Smith sings it. And yes, that's also what I think of every time I hear Willow. It's NMS but I don't think the dog connection should keep you from using it.

I don't know the connection and think Willow is a very pretty name, so I say use it.

Plus, whatever the connection is it's not like you have a son named Oakley, it's your dog, so I think it's fine.

I think they are fine! When my DD was born, my mother had a dog named Morgan-- and that is the `same name I chose for my DD's middle name.

Your daughter will out-live your dog. For this reason, I wouldn't pass up a great name because it was to themed with your pet.

I'm also not getting rid of a name on our list just because my sister named her cat the same thing.
