Converting velcro to snaps

Has anyone successfully pulled this off?  I'm not very crafty, so will take all the tips and advice you have.  

Also, which snap pliers and snaps do you like?  

I admit to being overwhelmed, but the velcro on my BG diapers is worn out after 2 years of use with DS.  I want to fix them up before baby gets here.

I did a couple BG's last year. It wasn't too bad. Just go slowly when you take off the velcro so you don't damage the PUL. I use Kam snaps and the Kam snap pliers they sell on the website. They sell BG colors too which is kind of cool. I looked up a YouTube tutorial which was really helpful.

Putting snaps on things is really easy.  Kam snaps and pliers can be found on eBay for a decent price, shipped from a seller in the US so that you get them quickly.  Like the pp said, make sure to go slowly and be careful when you take the velcro off and you should be fine.  Also, measure carefully and mark where the snaps are going to go before putting the hole in the diaper using the awl that they send.  It might help to take a diaper that already has snaps and use that as your template.  It's totally doable.

I think the Kam Snaps website has the template for BG snap placement.

i have the babyville pliers. I don't like them, but I got them for less than 10 so I guess you get what you pay for.
