Parenting after a Loss

4 month wakeful and transitions...opinions needed!

I need opinions! We are right in the middle of the 4 month wakeful, so her sleeping has been real iffy, some nights she sleeps decent, other nights not so much. I want to move her into her crib and tried it last night and she did ok. I would also like to try to break the swaddle too as I know she's going to be rolling over soon and would like to try to get her into a sleep sack instead. So here's my question......should I do one at a time (crib first, then swaddle)? or since her sleeping is already bad, just do it all at the same time? What would you do? TIA!

  • With DD1 we moved her to her crib and once that was all good, got ride of the swaddling.

  • I would move to the crib first and then ditch the swaddle. We haven't been swaddling with G, and I haven't attempted to move her to her crib yet. Soooo, I'm just speculating what might be the easiest course of action :] Hope it's an easy transition for you guys!

  • We are doing the same thing. What I've done is crib first and then once he was a better about being in there I started working on the swaddle.

Whats helped my LO is putting him in there width ways instead of length. So his head touches one side and his feet touch the other.
