re-intro (been lurking for last month)

Hi everyone! I haven't posted for about a year, we kind of took a little break, you can see most details in my siggy. But a rundown - TTC since 7/10, saw a NP last year who did clomid & just monitored w/ bw, showing I never responded. Went on Metformin for 3 months w/ no regularity. Took the summer off - it's mentally exhausting TTC (I know I'm not saying anything you don't already know!). Went to the fertility center in our area in October & had a consult. This was our first cycle w/ Clomid, monitoring u/s, & hcg trigger w/ TI. I refused to post on here for this cycle because I felt/hoped this was the only cycle I was going to have to go through (yeah right!). I was so proud of myself because I actually created follicles but I also never knew if I had in the past. My progesterone level was 9.3 & before it had always been .3 so I was soooo pumped thinking I had actually ovulated! POAS yesterday morning & BFN (as usual!). Waiting for CD40, then not really sure what the plan will be, another cycle of the same thing?
I just wanted to reintroduce myself because there's been times when I'd like to comment or respond on someones post or give advice. So, hoping to be accepted into this fabulous community because it was very helpful a year ago & has been helpful this last month without even sharing my story! It's a great feeling to know other people going through the same things I am

By "fertility specialist," I'm assuming you mean you're seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist ("RE").  Like you, I did some Clomid with my regular gyno before moving to an RE, and this board taught me that you have to be really careful about that.  I hope you get some answers from your new doctor, and that your stay here is short!  Good luck!

 Yes, it is an RE. I keep trying to change my siggy & it won't change! It's supposed to say TTC since July 2010<br>Charting since April 2011<br>Nurse Practitioner Fertility Specialist 9/11 Provera, Clomid for 3 months with no response.<br>Metformin 1/12 to 3/12 with no regularity<br>took break until 10/12<br>CD1 11/9, clomid CD3-7, monitoring U/S CD12, 4 follies (1 - 22mm), trigger with hcg, progesterone level 9.3, put on progesterone supps, BFN 12/7<br> and I keep resaving it & it won't change on my post.....

As for waiting until cd40....since you did respond and had a p4 reading of 9.3 then you should only have to wait 7 to 12days after your p4 blooddraw because since you did actually ovulate, you should get AF on your own.  How many days ago was the blood draw for your progesterone ovulation level?

My blood draw was 11/28, CD 20.
I'm confused though, what should I only have to wait 7-12 days for?
I am SUPER irregular & usually have to call on CD40 to start Provera again. But like you said since I did ovulate maybe I will get it on my own!
