Xanax and MFI

Good Morning everyone! Does anyone know if Xaax is safe to take for me while TTC? DH has been having really bad anxiety for the past few days and the doctor perscribed him Xanax. We are going for an IUI this month, so I want to make sure everything will be ok with this new medication.

I'm confused you said "your DH has been prescribed Xanax" but "is it safe for you to take?" No you shouldn't take meds that were not prescribed to you.....

 

I would call the pharmacy and see if it has any affect on MFI.  Your Pharmacits  has a wealth of knowledge about medication and could help you.

I can't speak to your taking it, but your RE certainly can.  I agree with PP that you shouldn't be taking it if it's been prescribed to DH and not to you.

As for your YH taking it, I can tell you that mine has been on it for years now, and we conceived DD via IVF #1 and are currently in the 2WW for IVF #2.  He did not stop taking his meds at any point along the way.  However, your post implies YH has MFI, whereas MH does not have any IF issues. I doubt it would matter, but again, your RE could probably answer this as well.
