Tide Powder and HE Front-loader

I've been using liquid Tide since we moved and switched to a front-loader. I've had some stink issues (kind of ammonia-ish?) and I'd like to switch to a box of Tide that I have leftover from my top-loader. It doesn't say HE on the box...think I can use it? How much? TIA!

I have an HE top loader and I use 2 tbsp of Tide Ultra. I don't know if a front loader would be different than an HE top loader though.
