Talk to me about...Britax B-Ready stroller

So Babycheapskate posted that the Britax B-Ready is at the cheapest price Amazon has ever sold it at. So now I am trying to decide if I want it. Do you think it is THAT MUCH better than the City Mini or B-Agile which are cheaper?  Does this stroller accommodate a second child AS IS? If you have it, I'd love to hear pros/cons. Thanks!

  • We've been debating on which one to get, B-Ready or B-Agile. Looks like we're going with the B-Agile and getting the Chaperone infant car seat. It's mainly a $$$ issue and secondly people got us a lot of gift card to Target so might as well put them to use! I've seen the B-Ready and it's beautiful!!! I love how large the storage basket is.

  • I like our B-Ready, but I do find it to be a bit bulky. There are some instances when I'm trying to navigate tight spaces that I wish I would have gone with the B-Agile instead. We have travelled with it, and it is very sturdy and holds a lot of stuff underneath. It folds up very easily and drives smoothly. It converts to a double with the purchase of an additional seat, so that's another point to consider. It really depends on how you anticipate you will use it.
  • It is bigger and heavier so not at all comparable to the B.Agile's quick fold and lightweight, compact yet full feature design. If you want it to be a double you need the kit which is normally around 150 I believe.

I have a B-Ready and have been using it since my DS was born 5 months ago. I LOVE it! I am currently using it as a snap n go with my Britax Chaperone car seat, and soon we will be using it with the regular seat it comes with. I compared the B-Agile and B-Ready and decided I liked the features on the B-ready more. FWIW I got mine on a crazy sale at a local store for $200, so that was a factor since it was just $25 more than the B-Agile.

We have flown with it, used it while shopping, and just out and about it i don't find it to be as bulky as some people say it is. I would suggest finding somewhere that carries it and checking it out in person. Amazon has a 90 day free return policy on baby stuff so as long as you don't open it you can return it and they pay for shipping. So if you think it is a good deal you can order it and then find a place to check it out.

This pretty much sums it up! I love ours, it's actually our only stroller. I also plan on using it as a double once DS#2 arrives so I hope it works out good.

  • I caved and went with the amazon deal. The black is currently just over $300 which is almost 40% off. It also comes with a baby carrier (about $80) and seemed like a great time to buy.

I was debating between the BReady and the BAgile and think that the versatility for more kiddos down the road will serve us well. Plus - if I regret the purchase it can easily be returned. I'm a sucker for a good deal!
