colds

Has anyone's LO had a few colds?  I stay at home and I take him to stores so I know he can catch things but since 6 months this is his 3rd cold.  The two previous were not in his chest so I guess they are nothing major but he does't sleep well when he has them and his nose is a runny mess.  Plus he has flem I think so he is having harder times with eating and spitting up.  I thought possibly teeth but still none!

My son (8 months) has had two colds so far this season. The first one stayed mostly in his head/nose, so we just used lots of saline spray and the humidifier in his room and it cleared up after a couple weeks.  He didn't seem overly miserable with it.  He's just now getting over another cold, this one landed in his chest. He's had a congested cough for a couple weeks but otherwise never acted like he had a cold or felt bad.  He ended up a viral rash as a result of the most recent cold, but that passed in a couple of days.  The doctor listened to his lungs and they were clear so I think it's just, again, waiting out the cough.  We've been using the humidifier again and I think that's helping.   All and all, for the first two colds, they haven't been too bad (knock on wood!).

My dd just had her first cold this week. She had a dry cough and a runny nose. The humidifier helped a lot. My dh has been sick since thanksgiving. He got better and then two days later got it again. It's just hard to kick and plus its just that time of year.
