Yeast rash ?

My son has been recently diagnosed (by the pediatrician, not an allergist) with a milk protein allergy.  Dairy is definitely in his system. If it matters, I am BFing.  He has always had skin issues as well.  He currently has yeast rashes (small ones, quarter sized and less) on his chest and a few other spots.  I was wondering if some of you who have a lot more food allergy experience would weigh in.  Are yeast rashes ever a sign of allergies? TIA
