B is a daycare kid which obviously exposes her to a variety of germs. Most recently, RSV. It started as a sniffle and little cough on Saturday. By Sunday, she had a fever. By Monday, the cough became deep and rumbly and I called the Dr that night when she woke up screaming after being asleep for 2 hours. She finally chilled out but we took her to the Dr's on Tuesday.
She was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis - inflammation of the the bronchioles and she was prescribed Albuterol 3x a day.
On Wedneday, we had little progress and by later that evening, Brooke was lethargic and feverish again. We called the Dr and just decided to keep her comfortable. But took her in yesterday for a follow up.
Her Brochiolitis morphed into Bronchiolitis Pneumonia with a double ear infection. All of this brought on by RSV.
Now, she's on antibiotics, Albuterol, and Pulmicort... not to mention Advil.
Nasty nasty virus!
