Sick during tww and meds to take?

So I'm pretty certain there's no baby for me this month, but I cannot seem to let go of the little hope that I have... I'm in my tww because I just had everything checked on Wednesday and hcg was zero and progesterone was 9.8. Cannot re-check until dec 19. However, I woke up this morning sick - sore throat, fever (99), body aches, ear aches, etc. Taking a half day at work so I can go to the doctor, but I'm afraid if I take anything more than Tylenol I could harm my maybe possibly potential baby... But I know I need to get better also. So would taking medicine during the very early tww really harm anything?

I have a sinus infection and am on antibiotics. The doctor can give you something that is safe during pregnancy. That is much better than being sick. You definitely don't want a fever. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks. I was able to make the appointment with a female doctor so I would think she will understand. I will just tell her pregnancy is possible but too early to detect. Thank you, you have calmed my fears.

Well the doctor said I have an upper respiratory infection and a sinus infection but refused to give me anything other than a nose spray. She said that if I decide to take anything it could compromise the pregnancy. She said usually antibiotics are a class B and listed as harmless but she wanted to air on the side of caution. So I just get to have this crap longer  and I don't even think I'm pregnant... yay...
